Materials
My favorite choice for pack fabric. Great combination of durability, weight, and cost. Sustainably made from pre-consumer nylon waste that would otherwise end up in the landfill, given a new life on trail. Made with a PFC free dwr outer coating and a 1500mm PU internal coating give it a decent water resistance. This fabric comes in loads of colors and is a great choice for a material that will look great and go the distance.
Construction: 210d recycled nylon with double 200d UHMWPE grid
Ultragrid 4.3oz/sq yard
210d venom gridstop 4.5oz/sq yard
Very similar fabric to UltraGrid but with smaller grid and thicker internal polyether urethane coating. The thicker coating gives it slightly better water resistance and a stiffer feel than UltraGrid, but makes it slightly heavier. The tighter UHMWPE grid gives good abrasion and cut resistance. Made with recycled nylon and a PFC free dwr coating. The soft purple color of this fabric is one of my favorites.

Ecopack EPX 200 6.4oz/sq yard
A waterproof laminate fabric with great color options. This material has a stiffer hand feel which gives a pack a bit of structure when empty. It is a waterproof fabric, but packs made with it are not seam taped, so the packs are not fully waterproof. A great choice if you want a pack with bright colors and good water resistance. Made with 100% recycled polyester. My go to fabric choice for Snack Packs for the color options, structure, and water resistance.
Construction: 200d recycled polyester, 45deg crossply, 70d ripstop backing
I will often have smaller amounts of other fabrics and colors not listed on the product pages. Reach out to if you have any specific fabric or color requests. If I don’t not have a particular fabric in stock, I’m happy to order just about anything I don’t have. Also reach out with any material questions, I love talking to you about pack fabrics and design!
